Dr. J.Tony Sierra, DDS, MS. General Dentist and Prosthodontist at La Vita Dental Arts in Marietta, GA

Dr. J. Tony Sierra, DDS, MS

My journey into the world of dentistry began as early as I can remember, sitting in the dental chair with my mom by my side. From birth, I was graced with an extra set of teeth, necessitating routine dental visits and extractions. It felt like I practically lived at the dental office, and it soon became my second home.

Growing up with this unique experience, my curiosity for dentistry naturally flourished. One day, my dentist remarked that I had the potential to excel in the dental field, given my extensive personal experience as a patient. Little did I know that this insight would shape my destiny, propelling me towards a career as a prosthodontist. But how did I get there?

After completing seminary school, I initially ventured into medical school. However,  I decided to pivot and follow my true calling, enrolling into Marquette University School of Dentistry.

It turns out my intuition was spot on. I not only graduated with honors but also found myself driven to pursue further education, embarking on an additional three years of specialized training to become a prosthodontist. My journey took me from my hometown in Chicago, IL to Milwaukee, WI and eventually, after 12 fulfilling years, I settled in Marietta, Georgia. Here, I discovered my second family at La Vita Dental Arts, formerly known as Jack Gentry, DDS, PC.

I am passionate about all facets of dentistry, relishing the opportunity to communicate my love for the profession to every patient I encounter. Dentistry is a world where patient care, artistry, and technology beautifully converge.

As a prosthodontist, I have the privilege of envisioning a patient’s present and future dental health. I firmly believe in the principle that “less is more,” striving to provide treatments that not only address immediate concerns but also ensure a bright and healthy smile for years to come.
